Ellington Centennial Lions Club

Trail of Treats - Keep your Halloween safe by  Trick-or-Treating Along the one-mile trail at Robert Tedford Memorial Park. Local patrons and businesses will be handing out treats at stations set up along the way.

This will be a fun-filled, family-friendly event and is FREE!

We will be collecting non-perishable food donations for the "Ellington Human Services Food Pantry" at the trail entrance (please, no expired food)

Children must be accompanied by an adult. Please bring your own bag to collect all the goodies!

The Coventry Chili Fest is back for another year.  Sponsored by the Coventry Lions Club, the Chili Fest will take place on Saturday Nov.2 from 12-2pm at Coventry HS.  Prizes will be awarded. Admission is $10 for adults, $7 for seniors and student ID, and free for age 6 and under.  Information will be available on the Lions’ Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/CoventryLionsClub or the Lions Club of Coventry website.  New chili cookers are welcome to the competition

TOLLAND LIONS CLUB PARTY TENT RENTALS

Party Tents ranging in size from 20’ x 20’ and up available. Tables and chairs rented as well. Lions deliver, set up and take down rentals. Rental fees based on size of tent and are all-inclusive for a one-day or weekend rental period.

BAGS OF HOPE

Bags of Hope provides monogrammed duffle bags filld with comfort items to children in local foster care. Many children in foster care carry their belongs in a trash bag. 

Each $25 donation will replace a trashbag with a personalized duffle bag.
